Sinfonia Academy
The Sinfonia Academy was established in 2005 to provide students at Grades 3–6 levels the opportunity to develop their musical skills, raise their own standard of playing, and experience working in collaboration with other musicians.

Play with the Sinfonia Orchestra
Play with the Orchestra provides an opportunity for students who are Grade 6 and above, or who are ready to join the Dunedin Youth Orchestra, to experience performing with a full-sized professional orchestra.

Masterclasses and Workshops with the Sinfonia
Every year the Sinfonia offers masterclasses and workshops with visiting guest artists. These are usually available to those students playing at Dunedin Youth Orchestra or University level, or to professional musicians. Previously, masterclasses have been offered with artists including violinist Shlomo Mintz, and percussionist Arnold Marinissen.
